Welcome to SocialSpark! By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SocialSpark, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

SocialSpark is a mobile application that provides:

AI-generated personalized challenges to help overcome social anxiety
AI-powered CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) coaching conversations
Progress tracking and gamification features

⚠️ Not Medical Advice: SocialSpark is a wellness and self-help tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a mental health professional immediately.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

📱 Auto-Renewal: SocialSpark Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Subscription options:

Monthly: $5.99/month, billed monthly
Annual: $49.99/year, billed annually

Free tier: SocialSpark offers limited free features including:

1 challenge refresh per day
3 CBT coaching sessions per week
Basic progress tracking

Managing your subscription:

iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SocialSpark
Android: Go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → SocialSpark

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
Use the AI coaching feature to generate harmful or inappropriate content
Share your account credentials with others

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of SocialSpark are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

The challenges and coaching responses in SocialSpark are generated by artificial intelligence (OpenAI). While we strive for helpful and accurate content:

AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate
Content is generated based on general CBT principles, not your specific medical history
You should use your own judgment when following suggestions

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SocialSpark is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SocialSpark. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SocialSpark at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
